It all started with a campfire & a chainsaw

We are a family-owned and operated farm. Located in the blissful blue ridge mountains of Independence, Virginia. Prior to becoming farmers, both Conrad & Vanessa served our country in the Marines & Navy, serving a second time as Virginia Beach Firefighters. Both decided to follow their dream of moving to the country and becoming self-sustainable. Now they run a small poultry farm, operational saw mill, veggie garden, fruit orchard and a budding tree nursery. Next year we hope to expand with turkeys and beekeeping!
